The V630M and V630T are fitted with one vertical and two
horizontal servo-controlled drilling units. Structural shapes can
be drilled simultaneously in both flanges and in the web. With the
rotating drilling unit of the V613M and V613T profiles can be
drilled vertically as well as horizontally. The drilling system can
operate independently for long periods as no operator
intervention is required as the system employees automatic tool
changers. The V630M and V613M drilling systems employee an
integrated roller feed positioning system. The advantages of the
roller feed is a high positioning speed, processing of unlimited
stock lengths, easily integrated into an existing production line
and roller feed systems require a minimum amount of floor space.
For material positioning the V630T and the V613T are both fitted
with a feeder truck with hydraulic gripper. The Voortman gripper
can clamp various types of profiles without manual setting. By
adding an automatic unloading system, for short products and
trim cuts, a combined drilling & sawing system can run
automatically for longer periods without operator intervention.

Software The software program "VACAM-Machine Edition" is installed on the control system.
